I’m exposed to EMF’s all the time? What else can I do to protect myself?

I get asked this question often. EMF’s are everywhere and exposure seems essentially unavoidable.  Considering the question, I am cautious with my answer. I’m happy that people want to be proactive with their health, but when it comes to EMF’s, we must FIRST reduce exposure.

There are supplements and dietary approaches that will help to support the body against EMF exposure, but the best diet and most expensive supplements will not protect you if you continue to bathe in high levels of radiation 24/7. So the first and most important step is to reduce your exposure. See my blog “10 Easy Steps To Reduce Your Exposure To EMF’s” here. I also suggest you hire a certified Building Biologist to conduct a complete assessment on your home and workplace.

Once you’ve reduced your exposure and decreased your reliance on wireless technology, it can be a good idea to fine tune your diet and add in some targeted supplementation to give you further protection. Due to the increased reliance on wireless technology, we can’t avoid EMF’s all the time. Unfortunately, we have to deal with everyone else’s use of this technology. So if you plan to leave your house, you want to protect yourself as much as you can.

One of the main mechanisms that EMF’s affect our biology is through oxidative stress. (Thanks to Martin Pall for his research on this topic!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFBYRfmqS8Q

As such, combating this oxidative damage is key in helping to mitigate the biological impact. This means adding a plethora of anti-oxidant rich foods to your diet. Foods rich in antioxidants include deeply colored fruits and vegetables like blueberries, cherries, dark leafy greens, beets, cabbage, cocoa and many different herbs and spices. Turmeric, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, paprika, cardamom, cumin and rosemary are particularly noteworthy. Making sure you incorporate some of these foods at each meal is a great first step.

If you want more protection, adding antioxidant supplements can be also be very helpful. Rosemary tincture is an excellent one to start with. Due to its neuroprotective benefits and high antioxidant capacity, many people find it helpful in decreasing symptoms. Other helpful supplements are propolis, Vitamin C, glutathione, astaxanthin, coriander, cocoa and green tea extract.

Dr. Klinghardt of the Sophia Institute https://www.sophiahi.com/ has formulated a supplement called Ray Wave, which is currently being sold through Ki Science. It is a combination of Propolis, Rosemary and Coriander.   https://kiscience.com/product/ray-wave/ So far testimonials from his clients are encouraging.

A few ‘cutting-edge’ supplements that I am keeping my eye on include Carbon 60 https://c-60.com/ and Molecular Hydrogen tablets for drinking water. I like Quicksilver’s Molecular H2 Elite tablets. These are available for 15% off at my online dispensary.

I have not personally tested either of these products, but I have heard impressive testimonials from colleagues and clients. It’s worth doing a little research if you’re interested in the many other benefits these products claim.

In addition to antioxidants, it’s also helpful to support the nervous system as it’s a key area of symptomology. Supplements for nervous system support include: GABA, Tryptophan, Omega 3’s, Minerals and B-vitamins.

Energetic supplements like Radinex (a drainage formula sold by Pekana) and Yarrow Environmental Solutions (made from flower essences)(http://www.fesflowers.com) might also be helpful for those that respond well to these types of products.

I do suggest speaking with a qualified practitioner if you choose to try any of the supplements listed here. It’s always best to have someone guide you to the appropriate choices for you, rather than guessing. We are all unique, with different life experiences and different needs. Some supplements might not be appropriate for you, and may make you worse. A knowledgeable practitioner will help you identify which supplements are the best for YOU, and save you a lot of time and money in the long run! If you already take supplements and are looking for the highest quality and trusted brands, check out my dispensary at Wellevate.  By using this link you automatically save 15% off of everything in the store!

Of course, take the time to reduce your exposure first, then add in some targeted supplementation if you need additional support. We’re fortunate to live on a planet with such abundance. Though we may have made a mess of things, nature provides us with answers! If you need help in identifying which of these supplements might be best for you, schedule an appointment with us today, we’d love to help!
