I’m not an alarmist, or a conspiracy theorist, or a crazy person…

Rather, I am concerned with what the science says. I am concerned that we are all going about our lives unaware of the health effects that our modern communication devices are having on us.

As a nutritionist, I see more and more people everyday that have symptoms associated with their cell phones and wifi. I know this because when they reduce their exposure, they get significant relief. And I know this because the science is very clear.

I don’t want to be the ‘Debbie Downer’, but I do want people to live their best life possible, and I want everyone to feel 100% every day of their lives. With that said, someone needs to pass on this information. We need to reduce our reliance on cell phones and wireless communication. The science is growing, and it’s real.

Here is a study on nerve cell damage from cell phones. Here is a study on how wireless negatively effects the blood-brain barrier. I could post dozens of studies, but you get the idea. I’m not saying you need to give up your devices entirely, but we need to use them in a much safer and logical manner. I know it’s tough for a lot of us to consider, but I bet you remember a time when cell phones didn’t even exist. And for me personally, I remember those times fondly, what seems to be a less stressful time in the past. I’d go back if I could! But I know not everyone wants to, so if that’s you- perhaps you can simply start by keeping your phone in ‘airplane mode’ a bit more often, or leaving it at home when you go out. Just a few small steps here and there will reduce your exposure and leave you a healthier person!

*Caution* By following this advice you might actually find you engage with people more, become more physically active, work on that art project you’ve been dreaming of, get more stuff done, and generally feel better!
